Introduction of Japan Niigata Large-travel Horizontal Machining Center to Enhance Machining Capacity for Large Precision Components
Recently, the company has newly introduced a HN-series large-travel horizontal machining center manufactured by Niigata, Japan, which has been officially put into workshop production. This upgrade marks a new milestone in the enterprise’s capability for machining ultra-long and large-sized precision structural parts.
This imported high-precision horizontal machining center features axis travel of X10000mm × Y950mm × Z1000mm. It is equipped with a heavy-duty BT60 spindle and FANUC F0i-MF PLUS CNC system, achieving a positioning accuracy of 0.01 mm. With its extra-long X-axis and horizontal structure, the machine can complete composite machining operations including boring, milling and drilling on multiple surfaces in a single clamping setup. It greatly reduces positioning errors caused by repeated workpiece clamping, balancing processing efficiency and dimensional stability.
Conventional equipment struggles with integrated precision machining of ultra-long box bodies and large cylindrical components, and this Niigata horizontal machining center fills exactly this gap. Boasting high rigidity and excellent vibration resistance, it supports precision cutting of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other materials, meeting the high-precision manufacturing requirements for large parts used in engineering machinery, energy equipment, hydraulic transmission and other sectors.
The commissioning of the new machine further enriches the company’s portfolio of high-end precision machining equipment. Leveraging its long travel and high precision, the enterprise is capable of undertaking orders for larger-size, higher-difficulty precision structural components, shortening processing cycles and improving dimensional consistency of large workpieces. It also lays a solid hardware foundation for further developing the supply chain business of high-end equipment parts and strengthens market competitiveness in the precision machining industry.
Going forward, the company will continue to rely on advanced CNC equipment, deepen the optimization of precision manufacturing processes, strictly control product quality, and deliver stable and reliable processing solutions for large precision components to customers.
